Abstract
The purpose of this qualitative research is to examine honor killings as a social issue that has negative consequences in society. 10 criminals related to honor killings have been analyzed in this research. The thematic analysis technique was employed for data analysis, resulting in 11 organized categories. These categories include the strong rule of tradition, male intimidation, nativeness of security staff, virtual social networks, forced marriage, the stubbornness of clans, double bias, nervousness, the value of revenge, the superiority of the male child, and disregard for women's feelings. In total, the data shows the penetration of different values in the mentioned society, which are not compatible with the traditional values of the region, such as limited relations between the two sexes, prejudice, zeal, etc., as a result, the tradition resists to survive, and in this, The way uses its most extreme tool, which is murder in a way that ultimately leads to various tangible and intangible encounters of the tradition and its beneficiaries with the resistant female identity.
